Spring Reception Grads

The Initiative for Minority Excellence (IME) focuses on RETENTION and the successful graduation of underrepresented minority graduate students through academic success, professional training and community development. All students that identify as URM are welcome to join this community.

 

BUILDING Excellence:

IME uses a four-tiered approach to creating a foundation for student success in graduate education.

 1. Community/Cohort: Building a cohesive and supportive network through programming opportunities & peer mentoring

3.  Faculty Advocates: Providing faculty advocates that act as champions for students at critical junctures

4.  Financial Bridge: Addressing issues that impact retention and time to degree
