LGBTQ Rainbow Flag

The LGBTQ Center and The Graduate School partner to provide opportunities and resources for our LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual)-identified graduate students to aid in their academic success and to build community.  Some of these include:

  • Graduate Student Speaker Series
    • Graduate and Professional students have the opportunity to share their research. Past presentations include:  “Traces of Lesbianism in Contemporary Mexican Literature”, “Couple Therapy with LGB Couples – Theoretical & Empirical Considerations for Affirming and Sensitive Therapy”, and “Who’s Looking? Surveillance in Gay Dating Apps”.
  • Graduate and Professional Social Hour-and-a-half (GP-SHAH)
  • SafeZone Training
